Concordia Cup 2010 results Deschutes Brewing Co. Hop Henge Experimental Batch #8 Wins Concordia Cup 2010 Cam O'Conner Head Brewer at Deschutes Brewing Co. has done it again! Three times in a row to be exact, winning the "Oregon Only" Imperial IPA Concordia Cup for three straight years, 2008, 2009, and 2010! Amazing! He will captain the OREGON BEER BRAWL IV team at Concordia Ale House yet another time coming ths FEB 2011. This years event was a close one. The event was tied to be exact with only a few hours remaining and after 579 taster trays Hop Henge Experimental Batch #8 won by 6 votes over Hopworks Ace of Spades. Washington Cup Results 2010 Hale's SUPERGOOSE DIPA wins Washington Cup! Second straight year "Hales prevails" at the Washington Cup! Current BEER BRAWL Captain Bill Prieb and his "BREWING CREW" will once again Captain WASHINGTON's BEER BRAWL IV team, going for the repeat win in February 2011. WASHINGTON beat OREGON 1206 - 1201 in a "SLUGFEST" in BEER BRAWL III 2010. No STATE has won "Beer Brawl" twice in a row, but the Hales Team will have months to dial in their line-up for BEER BRAWL IV, hand picking their states best PALE ALE, IMPERIAL IPA, STOUT and BREWERS CHOICE. BEER BRAWL IV will take place the last week of February 2011 Will OREGON and CALIFORNIA step it up? We will see.......
